Avery Jaba Chan Yew Ming
Avery is a guitarist and music arranger based in Singapore. He has been a session guitarist for several bands and arranged music for various ensembles. At the age of nine, Avery started learning the drums as a hobby, which led to him picking up other instruments such as the guitar when he was 15, as well as the chromatic harmonica when he was 25.
Avery is an arranger and guitarist for the local harmonica ensemble SPRESSO Harmonica. He has arranged music for live performances and has also been nominated for local awards in Singapore. Avery hopes to pursue his dream of being a composer for jazz and also a jazz guitarist / harmonica player.
Work
Avery is an arranger and guitarist for a local harmonica ensemble and band, SPRESSO Harmonica. He has arranged music for performances for River Hong Bao 2022 and was also one of the nominees for the Best Original Music Award in the National Youth Film Awards in 2022. He has also performed at venues like Esplanade Theatres by the Bay.
