Sally James
Sally James is a singer-songwriter who was born in Yangon and raised in Singapore. As a child, music was no stranger to her as she grew up listening to artists like Celine Dion and The Carpenters.
Sally is a graduate from the Diploma in Music programme at LASALLE College of the Arts and she will be graduating with a BA(Hons) Music from the same institution, specialising in pop music (vocals).
She is passionate about experimenting with different sounds and genres of music, drawing musical inspiration from K-pop, indie-pop and R&B influences. Sally is also an aspiring vocal teacher and has experience teaching students from various age groups.
Work
Sally's notable performances include We the Vibez (2018), a showcase for Diploma in Music students, GSS Idol, Battle of the Bands (2013 – 2014), as well as Singapore Youth Festival Youth Got Talent (2014).
