Tan Yi Er
Yi Er is a classically trained violinist and flautist. Since primary school, she has been exposed to different performances opportunities in the concert band and orchestra. Other than classical music, she has ventured out into other music genres like jazz and pop.
To further pursue her passion for music, Yi Er obtained a Diploma in Music Performance from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts under the tutelage of Miss Lynette Lim, before pursuing a BA(Hons) Music degree from LASALLE College of the Arts, under the guidance of Mr Yong Kai Lin. She will graduate from LASALLE in 2023.
Work
As a soloist, Yi Er performs in LASALLE's annual Piano Voyage concert and in recitals. She also performs with various ensemble groups like Macpherson Philharmonic Orchestra and Orkestra Sri Temasek. Recently, she performed in Pesta Raya: FENOMENA in Esplanade Concert Hall.
Apart from performing, Yi Er recorded for radio station Symphony 92.4 alongside with Orkestra Sri Temasek.
