Lim Jing Jia
Having received over 13 years of formal classical violin training and participated in a myriad of musical activities, Jing Jia is able to appreciate music from contrasting perspectives.
Intrigued by the art of music production, she ventured into contemporary music and audio technologies, honing her skills in creating music and bringing concerts to life. Jing Jia's knowledge in music education, performance and music production makes her a versatile musician and audio engineer.
Work
Jing Jia has worked on multiple live shows at LASALLE such as the Lunchtime Concert series, Rock and Indie Festival (RIF) and The Living Composer's Concert series.
She was tasked to be the IC at the Creative Cube during RIF, where she worked with d&B’s 360-degree Soundscape and Avid’s S6L digital mixer as a front of house engineer. As the assistant IC for the The Living Composer's Concert, she contributed considerably to the planning and execution of the whole event. In studio productions, she has worked closely with other musicians from Diploma in Music to produce covers and originals from scratch.
