Noer Rassiddique (Sid)
Sid has toured countries such as Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia since 2017 as part of a Japanese-influenced rock band. By seeing first hand how overseas shows are put together, Sid's interest in the back end of live concerts grew.
He had already been exposed to studio mixing and recording prior to his Diploma in Audio Production studies, but it was the adrenaline rush of mixing live shows that felt most similar to performing live on stage to an audience.
Sid's familiarity with other art forms, including music, photography and videography, has given him versatility as a studio and live sound engineer.
Work
Sid has served in a diverse array of roles such as monitoring engineer and front of house engineer. He worked on multiple in-house shows at LASALLE such as the Lunchtime Concert series, Rock and Indie Festival, Level 2 Diploma in Music Showcase and The Living Composer's Concert series in collaboration with the BA(Hons) Music students specialising in composition, for which he also served as production manager.
