Emmanuel has incorporated his passion of music into his life, from sitting down and watching Queen's performance in LiveAid 1985 to actively learning a new song on the guitar, bass, or drums. He counts The Marcus Miller Project, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Chaka Khan, Fela Kuti and the Foo Fighters among his influences. Emmanuel's parents' favourite artists, such as the Bee Gees, U2, Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, Sting, and The Carpenters, also inspired him greatly as he grew up.

Recognising the importance of a music education, Emmanuel applied to LASALLE College of Arts without hesitation to turn his passion for music into a vocation. Since then, he has become more in touch with his mind, body, and soul, and realised his musical artistry.

Work

Emmanuel has been heavily involved in the local music industry, performing and sessioning for artists such as Shye, Morning Martians and eelnai. He has also played at music events, including Tones Music Festival, Nightfest, and at the release of the Tell Lie Vision EP.

As his passion for music has grown, he has experimented with new genres such as latin, jazz, fusion, progressive rock and electronic music.
