Isabel Tan (Izzy Chen)
Isabel Tan, also known as Izzy Chen, is graduating from LASALLE College of the Arts with a Diploma in Music, specialising in vocals.
She fell in love with the piano at the age of five, thus beginning her journey as a classical pianist. Since primary school, she spent eight valuable and insightful years with her school’s choir, before serving in her church’s band for five years till the present as both a pianist and vocalist.
After exploring different genres of music, Isabel finds that she derives the most comfort and passion for Mandopop ballads. Since studying at LASALLE, she has expanded her singing styles to include genres such as R&B, city pop and neo-soul amonst others.
Work
Isabel has performed in events such as Our Tampines Hub – Together in Harmony by Other Voices (2021), The Road Ahead Cover – 4 languages (National Day 2021 theme song), as well as the LASALLE Diploma in Music Showcase (2022).
In 2021, she released the single '放弃' in collaboration with her friends, and was featured on the single 'Momentaneum' by Death In October in 2022.
