Kang Baoyun (Bonnie Kang)
Bonnie is a pop and jazz vocalist from Wuhan, China. Nurtured by music-loving parents since she was young, she began learning vocal music at the age of five and won several vocal competitions from 2009 – 2015.
She continued to study singing and musical theatre in an arts high school before enrolling in LASALLE College of the Arts, studying pop music under Singaporean musician Dr Wong Su Sun. She credits her time at LASALLE with helping her find her own music style.
Recently, Bonnie released the Chinese song '不败的甜心' (meaning 'undefeated sweetheart') on most music platforms, and has served as a demo singer for Touch Music (Beijing), Avex Entertainment Inc and singers including 王菊 (China) and Captand (China).
Work
Bonnie was a member of JoMo music and composed original songs with the group in 2022. She has also released a few songs on music platforms including NetEase Cloud Music, QQ Music and Spotify.
