Megan Yuen
Megan has loved music ever since she was three. She joined her school choir when she was seven before becoming a part of the Vocal Associates Youth Choir at the age of 13. After seven years of choral and classical training, Megan went on to pursue a career in pop vocals by enrolling in LASALLE's Diploma in Music programme, studying under Alemay Fernandez and Babes Conde.
During her time at LASALLE, Megan expanded her musical knowledge through performing in weekly ensembles. She is currently exploring jazz and pop vocals, as well as releasing her own music. Megan spends her free time writing songs as well as working at jazz bars to learn and appreciate the art form more deeply. She hopes to study abroad to expand her knowledge and aspires to become a recording artist and songwriter.
Work
Megan has performed at the Esplanade with the Vocals Associates Youth Choir from 2013 – 2015. She has conducted her school choir in Voices of Singapore at CHIJMES (2016) as well as performed in LASALLE's Diploma in Music Level 2 Showcase (2022) as the lead singer. She is currently working on an album titled Panic Room and intends to release the single 'Vermont'.
