Muhammad Faisal Bin Muhammad Raqiib Abdullah (Fai)
Fai only found his calling for music a few years ago. A technically gifted vocalist from a young age, he had never ventured into music formally, but later taught himself to play the guitar and piano to accompany his singing. His love and curiosity for music and performance beckoned him to explore the wonders and all it had to offer, which included pursuing a Diploma in Music at LASALLE College of the Arts.
Fai is keen on seeking knowledge to understand music, as well as to develop his own style. He is currently the frontman of Gravity, an international band based in Singapore, and aspires to be a soulful music poet, eliciting feelings and heartfelt emotions from his audience through his own music.
Work
Fai's cover of the 2021 National Day theme song 'The Road Ahead' garnered over 250,000 views on YouTube. He has played at clubs including Octapas, Coq & Balls and is also part of Gravity, an international band which held residency at Brix at The Grand Hyatt Hotel in 2022.
As a part of Gravity, he played for Asia-Pacific Breweries Singapore at their award ceremony, at Equarius Hotel (2022), Bohemian Cryptody at Pasir Panjang Power Station (2022), as well as the F1 night party at Marina Bay Sands, together with Dr Alban and SNAP! (2022).
