Qi Ziyue (Cecilia)

Diploma in Music
2020 — 2023

Cecilia is a singer who grew up listening to artists like Faye Wong, Stefanie Sun, Lana Del Rey, Sia, G.E.M, IU amongst others, and aspires to be like her role models. She has loved being on stage since she was a child and enjoys passing the energy and warmth of a performance to her audiences.

As Cecilia believes that the creation of art is one of the highest values of life, she is always trying and learning new things, such as musical theatre, dance, painting, calligraphy and modelling. Cecilia developed an interest in composition and arrangement during her time in LASALLE College of the Arts, and she hopes to share her emotions and love of music through her original songs in the future. Upon graduating, Cecilia intends to continue advancing her music and strive to be the best musician she can be.

Work

During Cecilia's studies at Dulwich International High School, she came first in the school talent show and won the Outstanding Progress Award for Music in 2019. She was involved in the 8th Call of the 90s charity performance and performed solo dance 'Flower' in the Zhuhai Huafa & CPAA Grand Theatre.

Cecilia also played one of the leading roles in the musical The Addams Family (2018) and took part in The Drowsy Chaperone (2019). In 2020, she is grateful to have the opportunity to participate in the recording of 'Pray' by Judy Ongg.
