Tan Kai Yun Trisha

Tan Kai Yun Trisha

Diploma in Music
2020 — 2023

Trisha is a classical pianist, accompanist and music educator. She has been playing the piano since the age of seven and in 2018, achieved Distinction in the Grade 8 ABRSM Piano examination. She is graduating with a Diploma in Music from LASALLE College of the Arts, specialising in classical piano under the guidance of Arkadiusz Bialak.

Having realised her passion for teaching, she started her teaching career at the young age of 17 at an established music school in Singapore and has provided private piano lessons to young children as well as adults. She finds joy in imparting her knowledge to others and hopes to inspire them to fall in love with music like she did.

Work

Prior to LASALLE, Trisha played erhu and gaohu in Chinese orchestra as part of her co-curricular activities in primary and secondary school, as well as percussion in her junior college's symphonic band. She has performed in a variety of settings, including the biennial Singapore Youth Festival Competition, hospices and nursing homes for volunteer work, and annual school-organised concerts such as Vivezza 2019 at the Singapore Conference Hall.

She is currently a member of the Yew Tee Community Club Chinese Orchestra and she hopes to continue bringing music to everyone in the community.
