Zhang Junyang
Born in Tianjin, China, Jun Yang was interested in music from an early age and listened to a variety of music styles. While in high school, he served as a bandleader, organising school performances to critical acclaim, and worked as a resident musician in a bar. After graduation, Jun Yang went on to lead an established student band for live performances in China.
During his time at LASALLE, Jun Yang served as an on-campus producer and has been involved in the production and supervision of three film scores. He has taught music theory and guitar techniques, and also delved into music production techniques and remixing. To date, he has produced over 30 tracks which have accumulated over half a million plays.
Work
Junyang has scored two student films and has worked as a producer on campus, as well as provided direction, recording, mixing and arranging work for other artists.
